2025年8月19日—英特爾（納斯達克代碼：INTC）與軟銀集團股份有限公司（東京證交所代碼：9984）宣布，雙方已簽署一項最終證券買賣協議，根據該協議，軟銀將對英特爾普通股進行20億美元的投資。
此次投資讓英特爾與軟銀進一步深化雙方在美國先進技術與半導體創新投資的承諾。
軟銀集團創辦人暨執行長孫正義表示：「半導體是所有產業的基礎。過去50多年以來，英特爾始終是值得信賴的創新領導者。這項策略性投資反映了我們的信念，先進半導體製造與供應將在美國進一步擴展，而英特爾將在其中扮演關鍵角色。」
英特爾執行長陳立武表示：「我們非常高興能與軟銀進一步深化關係，這是一家引領眾多新興技術與創新的公司，並且與我們一樣致力於推進美國科技與製造業的領導地位。孫先生和我已經密切合作數十年，非常感謝他以這項投資展現對英特爾的信心。」
根據協議條款，軟銀將以每股23美元的價格購買英特爾普通股。本次交易需符合慣例的交割條件。
